Seems interesting subscribe the way you want to keep updated…

Airlift – Airport Transfer Services for Bangloreans πŸ™‚ . Cheapest and luxurious travel alternative to the new Airport. Classy way of travel to the jazzy new airport πŸ™‚

Airlift has started an Airport Transfer Service for people of Bangalore. Since the New airport is far from the city and people feel (actually it is 😦 ) that Airport Transfers will become very expensive for the Passengers, there is a definite problem to commute to and from the New Airport.

Β

Airlift is introducing services to make airport Transfers less expensive (affordable) and still provide the required luxury while serving customers. Airlift picks up the customers from the Airlift pickup points and drop them to the airport and vice versa bring them to the city from the airport.

Β

Why Airlift:

  • Airlift will be 6 seat air conditioned Toyota Innova.
  • Individual Bucket seats for all 5 passengers.
  • Airlift will have a LCD screen on each passenger seat for personalized entertainment system, these screens will show 5 channels with different contents.
  • Airlift has ample overhead covered and secured luggage space.
  • Airlift will be Wi-Fi enabled for passengers to browse the Internet on the screens and as well as with their laptops.
  • Airlift will be driven by Auto (not the three wheeler auto-rickshaw πŸ™‚ ) Pilots who will be in uniform and well trained to communicate and present themselves to the customers.
  • Airlift will also be tracked by GPS system to ensure efficient on time services and tracking every vehicle to make sure of complete security of passengers.
  • Airlift is being designed to provide complete comfort and help the passenger to use their commuting time productively.

How about Pricing:

A Normal City Cab from or to the Airport will cost us about Rs. 750 to Rs. 1000 one way. Airlift has been priced at Rs. 300 one way and moreover to and from return journey for the airport will be Rs. 450 per person which is nearly 70% savings on the travel, which is not the otherwise vis-Γ -vis a regular City Cab.

Β

How to avail the service:

Book Tickets online here. through Credit or Debit Card. Pickup the Prepaid Coupons in any of the Retail Stores and call 9845047788 to make a booking or use the same on the webseite

Β

Just wanted to share the exp that I had with AirLift… The name of the service should have been Bull**** rather… they have such a pathetic service that I almost missed my flight. First, I booked the cab a week prior to my travel. On the travel day before a few hrs of my flight, I give them a call to confirm. Their phones are forever ringing, no one bothers to pick up… I wonder why they have a ph in place, that too Customer care number… ?? Well, when i finaly got someone online, they say that they never had my booking!.. now after arguing for sometime, I thought it would be better to ask for a remedy. They asked me to book fresh online & they will ensure the cab on time. Now, I do that(biggest mistake)… & also make payment online…! & thats it… theres no news from their side after tht. I try calling again to see whts happening.. & they never answer…. this is heights!!!… I finally book another cab service just 2 hrs before the filght & reach the airport just in time… Im yet to recieve my money back… & theres no conatct number to speak to someone abt this!!! … SO, PLZ BOOK AIRLFIT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!… IF POSSIBLE AVOID!!!

    Hi…

I comply with the comments made by BS.

I had a similar exp. I booked a cab for June 5 evening pickup to AIRPORT. I called them throughout the day and even mailed them about the wrong info(wrong flight date, wrong passenger name). I heared from them the cab will reach on time and got assured and didnt made any backup arrangement.

After waiting for 10 minutes I called customer care to hear that the date was wrong in the booking and “We are sending a cab right now, and it will reach from Marathalli to Wockhardt Hopital, bannerghatta road in 40 Mins” I talked asked for the driver contact number and talked to him to hear that he could reach silk board flyover in 1 Hr and he was unaware of the pickup point.

i could have missed the flight had I waited for that idiot driver.

    These guys are jerks.

    summary:
    Scheduling is very bad.
Customer care is illiterate. Cant hear properly.
They are claiming of having a worldclass facility, GPS enabled cabs and a center. My foot.

I have now sent a mail asking for refund and will go to consumer court if they still didn’t hear.

Hi matka/html, (Sorry for using the same initial 😦 )
Interesting that a positive comment came for this service. Initially when I wrote this post and waiting for comments all I was getting was negative comments. Good that at least one positive feedback for this service has been registered.
